An ordinary upper midwestern working stiff heading towards the “Buick” stage of life. 

My perspective? 

Politically conservative with an Open Theistic perspectives in my Christian faith.

What keeps the ‘motor running’? 

In no particular order – strong black coffee, jazz guitar music, my bride of more years than she’s willing to admit, three kids, five grandkids, charcoal grilling in the dead of winter, digging in the garden, playing chess, backpacking in northern MN, the guys I regularly meet with on Saturday mornings, a good orthopedic surgeon and an occasional pale ale.
